IoM Challenge – Event Details
Event Information
The route has been designed to be challenging but achievable for a wide range of cyclists so long as they have prepared themselves and their bike appropriately.
Day 1 – Thurs 17 Sept:
St Albans to Cheltenham (approx 110 miles)
We will be setting off from Rennie Grove HQ at Grove house.
The route will take us North West initially up to Leighton Buzzard and then head in a more westerly direction to Bister. We then head through the Cotswold countryside through Bourton-on-the-Water before arriving in Cheltenham.
Overnight stay in a hotel with well earnt refreshments and evening meal.
Day 2 -Friday 18th Sept:
Cheltenham to Oswestry (approx 100 miles)
Day 3 – Saturday 19th Sept:
Oswestry to Liverpool + Ferry to Douglas (approx 70 miles)
Day 4 – Sunday 20th Sept:
Isle of Man TT circuit (37 miles) X 3 laps*
*3 laps optional – 1 mandatory
Monday 21st Sept: Return journey
– Ferry and Coach transfer back to St Albans.
